According to the congressionally mandated Diversity Visa Program, up to 55,000 persons from nations with a historically low level of immigration to the United States of America will qualify every year for immigrant visas, also known as Green Cards (DV Lottery).
The scheme is known as the "Green Card Lottery" or "dvlottery" because the winners are chosen at random from among the 10–12 million applicants who submit applications each year.
The United States is proud of its immigrant population. Nonetheless, numerous countries send much more citizens to the United States than other countries. For example, the total number of immigrants from Mexico, China, and the Philippines outnumbers those from the majority of other countries combined. To maintain demographic diversity, US policies restrict immigration from many regions of the world.
Eligibility Requirements:
Number 1. Applicants should be citizens of Eligible Countries:
The following countries are not eligible for DV Lottery 2024, it means except these countries all other countries are eligible.
- Bangladesh
- Brazil
- China (including Hong Kong SAR)
- Colombia
- Dominican Republic
- El Salvador
- Haiti
- Honduras
- India
- Jamaica
- Mexico
- Nigeria
- Pakistan
- Philippines
- Republic of Korea (South Korea)
- The United Kingdom with its dependent territories (but there is exception on Northern Ireland)
- Venezuela
- Vietnam
There might be exemption in some cases if your country is not eligible:
1st. If your spouse is citizen of eligible country. On that time you both can apply.
2nd. Are you a native of a nation with a historically high rate of immigration to the US but where neither of your parents were born or were lawfully residing when you were born? If the answer is positive, you may include the nation of the parent whose birth you believe qualifies them for the DV-2024 program.
Number 2. Each DV applicant must meet the education or work experience requirement of the DV program, Applicants have to have one of the following 2 conditions:
1st. Education; At least a high school diploma, which is the equivalent of completing a 12-year formal primary and secondary education at the school.
2nd. Work Experience; Two years of work experience in the last five years in a profession that calls for at least two years of education or training.

Required Documents:
Applicants are required to just upload their photo which has been taken within last six months, the picture should have the following conditions.
Colored Picture- The picture should be (600 Pixel x 600 Pixel or 2 inch x 2 inch ) Full Information.
- The picture should be white background.
- The picture should taken in the previous 6 months.
- Taken in full-face view while direct in front of the camera.
- Except when used regularly for religious reasons, avoid using hats or other head coverings that hide your hairline or scalp.
- Avoid wearing eyeglasses, headphones, hands free or other devices or objects while taking photo.

- The photo should be in (.jpg) format and less than 240 KB.
- Photo should be in square ratio with dimensions of (600 Pixels x 600 Pixels)
